I have a few tools that help me learn Nihongo. These days, I'm listening to a set of MP3's. At lesson 6, it taught me how to say, "Would you like to have a drink at my place?" By lesson 7, it taught me how to say, "Would you like to drink some beer?" I get the feeling that by lesson 20, it will be teaching me how to proposition a hooker.
I wanted to have something I can listen to while I'm doing something, but these ones required the listener to repeat the phrases verbally, so I can't use them when I'm, say, riding on a bus because I don't want people to think I'm talking to myself. But I blog, so I guess I'm already doing that.
